We had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The dorm rooms were like private bedrooms, with walls between each bed and curtains for privacy. The beds were comfortable, and there was even a mosquito net provided. The bathroom and kitchen were clean, and the hostel had beautiful gardens. The host was very welcoming and helpful, providing tips for our stay. We also loved the open seating area with hammocks, creating a social and friendly environment. we were impressed with the cleanliness, hotel facilities, and the friendly staff.
Nothing negative to say.

We had a very nice stay at this backpacker's accommodation. the owner was friendly and helpful, and the kitchen was fully functional. the location was also convenient for exploring the area. the dorm room we stayed in was comfortable, with walls separating each bed, giving us some privacy. the mosquito net provided was a thoughtful touch and the bathroom and kitchen were clean. the beautiful garden added to the overall charm of the place. Taking the bus from the ferry terminal was a convenient way to reach the backpacker. Cons: Everything was great! 👍.

The value for money at this hostel was outstanding, with comfortable and private dorm beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a social and friendly atmosphere. The location was great, within walking distance of a beautiful beach, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
The breakfast option could have been better with a wider variety of choices.

I had the best time at this hostel! The location was perfect - peaceful and quiet, yet still close to the main attractions. There was an amazing hiking trail nearby, and the beach was just a short walk away. The dorm room was fantastic - each bed had its own space with a window, lamp, fan, and mosquito net. I really enjoyed having my own personal area. The communal kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, making it easy for everyone to cook together. The common area was also a great place to relax and hang out with fellow travelers. the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and I had an unforgettable experience.
The only downside was that the hotel was a bit out of the way and there were limited transportation options. Getting to and from the airport was a bit challenging, especially if you didn't want to pay for a taxi.

Painapaopao Backpacker is seriously one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed at. The private bed setup with curtains gives a sense of privacy. Beds are comfortable with mosquito nets, lamps, fans, and tables. The communal areas are top-notch, clean, and have hammocks to relax on. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. The staff, especially Marie and Camille, are friendly and helpful.
It was all superb.

The location of the backpacker is a bit out of the way, providing a rustic and authentic experience away from tourist areas. the open common areas and separate dormitory rooms with mosquito nets create a relaxing atmosphere. the facilities are adequate and clean, with a great kitchen, communal area, and a beautiful garden. the hosts are friendly and provide helpful information about activities in the area.
The nearby restaurants and grocery stores are not within walking distance, which can be inconvenient.

I recently stayed at a budget-friendly hotel in Moorea for a few days. The location was perfect - just a short walk away from a stunning public beach. The hotel had a well-equipped kitchen, which was great for cooking meals. The rooms were surrounded by beautiful greenery and offered a peaceful atmosphere. The morning view from the porch was breathtaking. The staff were incredibly helpful and caring, making sure all our needs were met. The dorm rooms provided privacy with the cleverly designed thin walls. The spacious and clean common areas, including the large kitchen and dining space, made it easy to socialize with other travelers. it was a fantastic experience for backpackers like myself.
Would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a fantastic hostel on Moorea called Painapaopao Backpacker. It was the perfect place for my travel purpose, and I stayed there for several nights. The dorm room setup was great, with each bed having its own curtain instead of a door, giving a sense of privacy. The beds were comfortable, and each had a full-cover mosquito net, bedside lamp, fan, and table. I also appreciated having my own private safe. The communal areas were top-notch, with a clean and spacious kitchen, as well as an open seating/dining area with hammocks to relax on. The friendly owner, Marie, takes pride in creating a social and friendly environment, and I met some lovely people during my stay. one of the best hostels I've ever experienced!
I do recommend this hotel.
